WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Alixandra launched her boutique interior design studio in 2016 after years of designing for friends and family that were struggling to create profitable rentals and homes they could relax in. With a desire to help people overcome this stress, the brand quickly developed into the course, blog, shop, and studio work that has been shared and repinned by millions of Pinterest users.
Today, Mint Modern Interiors continues to believe that a carefully curated space can enrich lives. Our decidedly approachable and sophisticated aesthetic is made unique by your vision and location. By sourcing unique pieces, we create a purposefully collected feel that helps you tell your story. Our job is to be your partner in creating a home that will be enjoyed for years to come.
MEET ALIXANDRA
Alixandra Guthrie is a Raleigh, North Carolina based designer and curator with an eye for artfully pairing modern textiles and finishes with natural elements. Her passion for combining styles to create distinctive spaces is apparent as she works with architects and contractors to bring her bright, clean, and collected designs to life.
Prior to taking courses in interior architecture and design, Alixandra trained with a residential interior design firm. During this time, she was honing her personal aesthetic as a stylist, selecting textiles, finishes, and furniture for clients. She went on to earn her BS in business marketing before developing the Mint Modern brand; a creative outlet and a resource for all things design.
