Our research-based approach to design means we get to know the end user and how they’ll spend time in the space. Your lookbook design is unique to your location and the story of the home. We select furniture and decor items that create a sense of place and an unforgettable experience.

Not sure where to put that extra chair? Your furniture plan shows you exactly where to place each item we’ve selected. We use your room dimensions to create a layout based on the most functional use of your space.

With the click of a button, you can shop each piece we’ve selected for your home. Your shopping list provides links to each retailer as well as all of the details you’ll need to ensure you’re ordering the right size, color, and quantity.

Share Your Goals
First, we’ll talk about your design hopes and dreams on an intro call. If we’re a good fit, we’ll send over a virtual styling agreement and an invoice for the full design fee (or deposit if booking in advance).

Write Your Story
Next, we’ll guide you through the steps to send us room dimensions and photos. A kickoff call will follow where we’ll discuss all of your goals for the project including occupancy, nightly rate, and target guest.

Shop Your List
We’ll email you with your lookbook and will make one round of revisions to products (if required). Simply click on the product links in your shopping list to place your order. It’s furniture shopping made easy!

See Results
Once orders have been placed, we’ll send the step-by-step installation instructions included in your lookbook. Our styling guide makes it easy to implement your design so you can see the results quickly.

Our virtual styling services provide an overall vision and sourcing for any clients that prefer to handle the purchasing and installation themselves. Our styling team communicates with you entirely through e-mail, our client portal, and over the phone to deliver your design.

Mint Modern Interiors charges a fixed design fee of $600* per room for main rooms and $300* for smaller rooms or rooms requiring only accessories. We offer a discounted rate when we are brought on to design the entire home. Please schedule an intro call for more detailed pricing information.
*Our Paint Selection packages and Finishes Inspiration packages are available for an additional fee.

Once a spot opens on our waitlist, our process usually takes 2-4 weeks per room to provide your lookbook.

No, our team will only communicate with you directly. Our Finishes Inspiration packages are intended to be used as an aid for sourcing finishes locally and to provide fixture selections (pending contractor and/or architect review). We do not provide recommendations regarding changes to the structural, electrical, or mechanical elements of your space.

Discounts are not included in our interior design services. Our furniture and decor pricing is based on our trade partners’ established MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies. We do not inflate prices to fabricate discount levels as is common for many interior design firms, online retailers, and showrooms.
While we source trade items to be purchased through Mint Modern Home whenever possible, occasionally we will need to source a retail product(s). We are unable to provide discounts for items purchased from retailers, but you may contact the retailer directly to review any sales or discounts that may be available to you.

We do not provide lookbook refunds for any reason once the questionnaire has been completed and the virtual styling agreement is signed. We pride ourselves on ensuring every client loves their final design and provide several opportunities for client communication and feedback throughout the virtual styling process.

Yes, a minimum purchasing commitment is set for each individual room lookbook. The amount is determined by several factors, such as the level of design that you are interested in, the type of room we will be styling, and the the size of your space. The minimum will be included in your virtual styling agreement for your review.

Our shopping lists typically include a combination of both retail and trade items, depending on the budget. If budget allows, we source to-the-trade pieces based on our relationships with furniture manufacturers of the highest quality. In an effort to continue to offer low, fixed styling fees, it is MMI's expectation that clients purchase trade items on their shopping list through Mint Modern Home.

If you have specific pieces (ie, sofa, dining chair, etc.) that you would like to view or sit-in before purchasing, we will recommend items from retailers near you. Please provide this information to a member of our team during your intro call so we may accommodate your request.

It is recommended that all selected products be purchased as soon as possible. Should a recommended retail item become unavailable for purchase within two weeks of lookbook delivery, MMI will provide another selection(s) that coordinates with the design. After two weeks, hourly charges will apply for any additional work on the project. Alternates will not be selected due to extended lead times or backorder status.

While our clients hire us to give them a complete design in our signature style, we will do our best to incorporate your heirloom piece(s) into your design. If for any reason we are unable to include the piece into the final look, we will find an alternate location for it within your home.
