We believe all great design comes from listening. Schedule an intro call with our team so we can learn more about your project and your goals for the space. If we’re a good fit, we’ll dig deeper to discover your style, your vision, and the way the areas will need to function to best suit your needs.

We get to work making design magic, creating your detailed furniture plans and making all the dreamy product selections. Our in-house design team collaborates with you to make important style decisions and provides your trades with design direction to avoid potentially costly mistakes.

procurement
Gone are the days of managing the nitty gritty and the headaches that go along with it. We coordinate the sourcing, ordering, and tracking of any furniture and decor. All of these items are sent to our climate-controlled warehouse and inspected so you can sit back and relax until the big reveal.

the reveal
Our turn-key approach to furniture installation and styling means we do the heavy lifting and handle all of the decorating down to the smallest details. Our white glove delivery team will leave you with a beautifully styled space that feels unique and finished. Cue the happy tears!

Our flat fees vary depending on the scope of the project and the type of space we are designing. Your design fee amount will be included in your design agreement and is due prior to MMI beginning any work on the project.
When designing a residential property, the fee may be as little as $350* to select a few finishes for a small foyer. If we are designing, selecting finishes, styling, and collaborating with contractors on a kitchen, that number will be closer to $6,500* for our design fees.
On commercial projects, our design fee is usually determined on a per square foot basis.
*Additional travel fees apply if the project is located outside of the Raleigh-Durham area.

Yes, we have a similar design process when working with clients out of state. While the majority of the design work is handled remotely, there is typically one on-site meeting at the beginning of the project and a final install day that is managed in person. All travel costs will be included in your design agreement.

The time it takes to complete a project can vary widely based on a number of different factors such as current furniture lead times and the scale of the project. Your expected project completion timeline will be included in your design agreement.

Yes! Our team will collaborate with your contractors and architects to select finishes and fixtures (pending contractor and/or architect review) that will transform your space. Mint Modern Interiors does not manage any construction or architectural work and will not provide recommendations regarding changes to the structural, electrical, or mechanical elements of your space.

Prior to setting up your intro call, you will be required to fill in a short form with your project information. Please include your ideal project budget in this form so we may discuss the options with you on the intro call.

Discounts are not included in our interior design services. Our furniture and decor pricing is based on our trade partners’ established MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies. We do not inflate prices to fabricate discount levels as is common for many interior design firms, online retailers, and showrooms.
While we source custom and trade items to be purchased through Mint Modern Home whenever possible, occasionally we will need to source a retail product(s). We are unable to provide discounts for items purchased from retailers, but recommend these orders be placed through MMI so our team can coordinate the assembly and delivery of the item(s).

Yes, a minimum purchasing commitment is set for each project. The amount is determined by several factors, such as the level of design that you are interested in and the size of your space. The minimum will be discussed on the into call and included in your design agreement for your review.

If budget allows, we source custom items and to-the-trade pieces based on our relationships with furniture manufacturers of the highest quality. Should the need arise, we may occasionally source a retail product(s) to complete the design plan. It is MMI's expectation that clients purchase the proposed items through Mint Modern Home so our team can handle the coordination of orders and deliveries as well as to facilitate assembly and installation.

While our clients hire us to give them a complete design in our signature style, we will do our best to incorporate your heirloom piece(s) into your design. If for any reason we are unable to include the piece into the final look, we will find an alternate location for it within your home (or commercial space if applicable).
